Care, in focus.

A short look at the AI-native EHR built around the patient — ambient documentation, specialty workbenches driven by live vitals, and one connected platform for every role, every region.

Everything a modern health system needs

Built from first principles, not bolted together. Each capability is a first-class module with clean boundaries and verified contracts.

Clinical depth across specialties

SOAP editor with AI dictation, co-sign workflows, clinical decision support, and specialty workbenches purpose-built for cardiology, oncology, pediatrics, and more.

Multi-region by design

Pluggable compliance profiles for US (HIPAA), EU (GDPR + EHDS), India (NABH + DPDP), Australia (Privacy Act 1988), Singapore, and the UAE — deployed per-region, PHI stays in-region.

Specialty workbenches

First-class specialty modules ship on the same data plane: cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, obstetrics, oncology, neurology, pediatrics, dialysis, and behavioral health (42 CFR Part 2-aware) — no integration tax.

Clinical and financial in one record

A full health-ERP suite runs on the same platform: double-entry general ledger with maker/checker, procure-to-pay with three-way match, accounts payable, budgeting with encumbrance, and a fixed-asset register. Operational sub-ledgers post to the GL automatically.

Platform & extensibility

An enterprise master patient index (EMPI) with steward merge, multi-region data-residency control, a no-code form & workflow builder, predictive operations forecasting, a governed federated-AI model registry, ambient clinical dictation, and an emerging extension framework with scoped entitlements.

AI gateway with BYOK

Self-hosted Ollama default for every tier. Bring your own keys for Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Every AI call is audit-logged with PHI redaction by default.

Real-time bedside telemetry

Vitals flow from IoMT devices through TimescaleDB hypertables to WebSocket publishers. Responsible clinicians see live telemetry on their workbench within 1 second — in the ICU, on the ward, or via telehealth.

Modular bounded contexts

30+ backend modules — the EHR core, clinical, inpatient, ancillary, pharmacy, revenue, workforce, assets, the financial/ERP suite (general ledger, procurement, AP, budgeting, fixed assets, supply chain), and platform services — verified by Spring Modulith. Clean boundaries, zero spaghetti.

Architecture

Built modular from day one.

Most EHR platforms are monolithic systems where a feature in one area can silently break another. Healthplex enforces bounded contexts at compile time using Spring Modulith — cross-module calls go through published APIs or events only. The test suite verifies these boundaries on every pull request.

This matters for health systems: you can audit exactly which modules touch which data, extract a single module into a microservice when operational load demands it, and never worry about a financial-ledger change corrupting clinical data. Clinical, financial, and platform contexts share one record but stay strictly isolated in code.
